Abraham’s story reminds us of what robust faith appears to be like like. He was no stranger to adversity, but he chose to believe that “God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants.” (Romans 4:13). It’s tough to hold believing as time passes and we don’t see any hope. At times we come to feel weak, and our faith can stick to. So, what set Abraham aside as a male of sturdy faith? Romans 4:18 claims, “Even when there was no motive for hope, Abraham retained hoping….”

Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines faith as “belief and have confidence in in and loyalty to God.” In my possess lifestyle, there have been instances when I considered in God, but I did not totally belief him. I held on to regulate alternatively of keeping on to God’s goodness. But God has often been trustworthy. He taught me how to hope in him, even when my circumstance appeared hopeless. My religion started to increase when I chose to feel, rely on, and hope in Jesus.

I’m thankful today for individuals religion pioneers who’ve shown us the way. Wouldn’t it be incredible to have that amount of religion? To be a person who other folks come to for prayer and encouragement? Let us be like Abraham and under no circumstances waver from our beliefs.
